Markets and boot fairs liven up our districts and our villages, for those who love a bargain. Art lovers aren’t left out either: there are all sorts of exhibitions that change with the seasons.

In September, Soissons celebrates its famous bean with "Soissons et le Haricot Magique", a parade, concerts and a large festive village where local produce, sports and cultural associations and other artists and craftsmen come together: the town is buzzing with excitement over the course of a weekend.

Each summer, the Middle Ages takes centre stage: Coucy celebrates its history! Discover the sound and light show "Coucy à la Merveille" in which combat and chivalry play the main role. Summer is also synonymous with music: the Pic'Arts festival brings Septmonts to fever pitch thanks to a programme worthy of the biggest national festivals.
